Diagnosis of dementia can have a huge impact on a person’s life. It can also have a huge impact on others who are around those with dementia. They might experience a range of emotions such as grief, loss, anger, shock, fear, disbelief and even relief. The emotional changes in people with dementia can be a great challenge for the caregiver to deal with. Therefore, it is important for us to recognize and respond to the person’s emotional needs.
By the end of this webinar, you will be able to:
