Behavioral issues are common in people with dementia which contributes to major stress in caregivers. Non-pharmacological approaches including arts are considered alternative strategies to manage behavioral problems in a safer way with fewer side effects. However, there is a limited understanding among caregivers of practical tips about visual art engagement with demented elderly people.

 

At the end of the webinar, you will be able to:

  • Understand the benefit of visual art in people with dementia.

  • Know the activity considerations for people with dementia.

  • Facilitate visual art activities in people with dementia.
